Meet Sandy

She worked as a sales professional for 30+ years in which she has worked as a realtor, international sales representative, and healthcare sales professional.

Locally, she has served as a Competition Cheer Coach and a small group leader and facilitator in her church. She has also been an active leader in the Gwinnett Republican Party.

A resident of Gwinnett County for 20 years, Sandy currently resides in Buford. She has been married to her husband Bill for 33 years. They are the proud parents of Kyle (29) and daughter-in-law Elizabeth, Ashley (21), and Noah (17).

Issues Sandy wants to tackle:

Fight inflation:

Sandy will push back against Washington’s reckless policies and provide relief to our families by returning more of your tax dollars to YOU, where they belong to help our families that are struggling with high prices.

Stand for Students, Teachers, & Parents:

Our students lost so much during the pandemic, and after they returned to school, too many on the left played politics and kept forcing masks on kids, causing depression and loneliness. The pandemic did open our eyes to the radical and inappropriate curriculums that were being forced on our students. In the House, Sandy will ensure our schools are focused on academics and life skills – not political indoctrination. Sandy will protect the rights of parents in education to ensure no school board or administration stifles their voices, stand with our teachers by making sure they are allowed to do their job – teach, and increase safety in our schools.

Keep Families Safe:

Crime is on the rise. Just look at the headlines and the reality around us. Sandy stands with our law enforcement and first responders in their efforts to keep our community safe. In the State House, Sandy will make sure law enforcement has the resources and training they need to keep families safe, and she will oppose any effort to defund the police or make it easier for violent offenders to threaten our safety.

Tackle Traffic:

Our community is growing with more development faster than our traffic systems and roads are being improved. Apartments and neighborhoods are approved with no thought to the impact to traffic congestion. Sandy will push for needed reforms to handle growth and the funding necessary to reduce congestion and improve our quality of life.
